evening of dinner and pumpkin carving.

Locks of Love

What do you do when your girls ask, "Mom, can we donate our hair to Locks-of Love?"
I wanted to say, "Um, No! I don't care if kids with cancer don't have any hair, they can't have yours!!!"
Not really, I was so proud, yet so sad at the same time. I cried when the hairdresser took the scissors to their braids. But they both look so cute, and we might be able to pay for college with all the money we are saving on shampoo and conditioner!!! :0)

The Pumpkin Patch

Every Fall we take a little trip down to "Jakers Jack-o-lanterns."
It's always fun to watch each of our kids pick out their perfect pumpkin.
This year they had a "Kids" maze that was built out of bales of straw,
I think Aiden had more fun chasing his sisters around in the maze than looking for his pumpkin.

First Time Bloggers....

...I am pretty new to this whole blogging thing, but we thought that it would be a great way to keep everyone posted on what is happening in our neck of the woods. Please just be patient as I try to figure it all out.
