The Dreaded NG Tube

This past week at school Josh has been learning how to give an "NG" (nasogastric) tube. Everyone in the class was given the option of getting a FREE 100% on a test if they wanted to let someone else in the class practice on them! Doesn't that sound like a good deal?!?!?

I think I would have taken my chances on the test!!!

Happy Halloween

We had the best time on Halloween this year!
Aiden was old enough that he wanted to dress
up and he could walk by himself
while we were trick or treating.
I think he thought he had died and
gone to heaven with all of the CANDY!!!
He could hardly wait to get to the next house!

Three Months of Blogging in One Giant Post!!!!

I don't know what has happened to me?????
I used to be such a good blogger!
Well, I guess I will try to catch up in one ginormous post!!!
Are you ready for Diamond Family Overload??

Forgive me for the radomness,
I am too lazy to move everything
around so I am just leaving it the
way that blogger uploaded it!

My poor little sister Heather was riding on a motorcycle
in August and was hit by a drunk driver.
This picture was taken FOUR WEEKS
after the accident.
So you can imagine what it used to look like!

Nothing like a broken foot, a broken leg
and a dislocated knee to put a cramp in your style!
OUCH!

Aiden in the Library!

Yes, it is real!

Aiden's First day of Preschool!

Aiden & his girlfriend Caroline

Josh took this picture of a hummingbird by our back porch.

A Family in our neighborhood has these little ponies.
The whole hood was hanging out in our yard getting rides.

Megan

Aiden

Kylie

Josh's partner Chad from the firestation took us on our first
Bowfishing trip to utah lake. It was awesome. I am hooked!
Can't wait to go again.

This is totally discusting, but, I was barefooted.

This was the tragedy of the summer....
our neighbors cat broke in our house and ate
Megans little bird "Poncho! "

The girls first day of school.
I can't believe I have a fourth grader and a first grader.

At the end of July we went to our Family reunion in Island Park, ID.
We spent a couple of days in Yellowstone. It was the first time Josh had ever been.
What a deprived child!

Aiden wanted a picture in front of the "Hannah Montana" Sign!!!
One of my favorite parts of the trip was our boat trip down the Henry's Fork river!

Do I really need to explain? I love that kid!

The canoe got stuck on a sandbar....
I have to laugh because it looks like Doug is "walking on water"

My handsome men!

We were lucky enough to see a grizzly bear!

I was lucky enough not to get eaten by a grizzly bear.
I was standing right there on the road, this picture is NOT zoomed in.
I was scared to death!
More so of the park ranger yelling at me, than the bear!!! :o)

Our little chipmunk friends at Fire Hole Falls remembered
us from last year!

Our Trip to Seattle!

We got to take an awesome two week vacation to Seattle
in April and we had such a great time!
And I am so sorry but I am going to be that annoying person
that makes everyone watch
the boring vacation slide show! :0)
So Here it Goes!
The only thing Josh really wanted to do was see the "Abraham Lincoln...."
And the "Dream Lifter!"
And then he found the "T-n-A Latte"
And yes, the sign says "WARNING: NAKED GIRLS"
Toto...I don't think we are in Utah anymore!
No wonder everyone in Seattle drinks coffee!!!
So, in between trips to the coffee shop, here is the rest of what we did....
One of the highlights of our trip was
the Skaggit Valley Tulip Festival.
Kinda like potato's in Idaho,
there are tulips and daffodils just planted
in field after field. It has got to be one of the
most beautiful things I have ever seen.

We bought some of the pink ones for Grandma!

The Pike Street Fish Market....

The elevator up to the market

had a mirror on the ceiling......I LOVE this picture!

We took these pictures at the pond by my Grandparents have

by their house.

Don't even ask...I have no idea!

We took the ferry over to Whidby Island so we could check out Fort Casey and Deception Pass.

The Beach at Fort Casey...

Someone had built this "house" out of the drift wood.
DECEPTION PASS

Those of you that know me well know how I feel about bridges..... And I'll have you know that I walked across this bridge not once but TWICE!
Poor Megan inherited her mothers fear....
The only way she would go across is if she got a piggy back from her Dad!

Josh & I went on a little date to Safeco Field to watch the Mariners play the Angels.

And we were "lucky" enough to see Ken Griffey, Jr. hit his 400th homerun as a Mariner and Ichiro hit a grandslam homer!

The Troll under the Freemont Street Bridge

(that is a real VW Bug in his hand)

For all of you "Deadliest Catch" Fans.....

The Northwestern Crab Boat!

The Seattle Zoo

Mukilteo Beach

The kids love to hunt for crabs under the rocks at the beach.

We had the best time. Thank You Grandpa & Grandma! I really miss sleeping in late and waking up to hot breakfast that I didn't have to make.

We Love and Miss You!
